She established a Hospital and Medical College with Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Fazaia Medical College and Air University Islamabad .She has previously worked as a teaching fellow at the Oxford University United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. She became Dean at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in 2008 and Dean at the Faculty of Medicine at Quaid e Azam University Islamabad.She is retired from Maternal & Child Health Care Centre (MCH Pims) as Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecolgy .
